this post is subtitled: "50 actors, free booze, you do the math."

i was in an event this weekend at ghost light theatricals called "battle of the bards." it's a competition of three one-acts to see which one will be included in ghost light's season next year. the one-acts are mostly adaptations of classic works.

the one i was in was called "paper bullets" and is an adaptation of shakespeare's "much ado about nothing."

although now it's all gone. so...crisis over.

sorry folks. no pictures from this week. the biggest reason for that is this:

i had the pleasure of playing miss amelia in a staged reading of A Little Princess. it was great fun but it took all time. hence, no pictures.

not many pictures from this, the first week of 2012. my dear dear friend, amalia larson took this picture of me as we had coffee on thursday afternoon. i was trying really hard not to go back to work. it didn't work. i still went back to work.

"the light is doing crazy things to your eyes right now. look that way. okay, don't move."

so, of course i was laughing the whole time.
